Essendon Fields is an award-winning commercial, aviation and retail precinct located on the site of Melbourne’s first airport. 

Established in 1921, Essendon Airport is the site of Melbourne’s first and Australia’s second airport. In 2001, the federal government acquired a long-term lease to operate and develop Essendon Airport.
